In two close, tough fought games, the Angels came back from an early loss and won the second game of the double header, defeating Sage in game two and splitting the series. As part of game one of a three game home stand. In a tough fought game, the Angels were unable to come away with the win as they fell to the Beavers 7-1. In the game for the Angels Alex Erwin was given the start as the senior pitched two and one thirds inning before being pulled for freshman Justin Grullon who struck out seven in six and two thirds inning of work.
